Custom Realtor Website with IDX Search and Saved-Home Portals: The Wise McCoy Team
Darci Wise
Real Estate · Grove City & Mercer County

Darci Wise is a top-producing REALTOR® and co-leader of The Wise McCoy Team with Tricia McCoy at Realty One Group Ultimate in Grove City, PA. The team serves buyers and sellers across Mercer County and neighboring Slippery Rock. They needed a site they owned — not a brokerage template — that could search live MLS inventory, keep buyers on darciwiserealtor.com, and give the agents a way to stay attached to people who were already shopping.
The Challenge
Most realtor websites force a tradeoff. A brokerage profile looks generic and sends buyers to Zillow or the franchise search tool the moment they want to look at homes. A pretty marketing site without IDX cannot hold a serious buyer. Darci needed both: a branded custom site for Grove City and Mercer County, and a real listing search on her own domain. She also needed those searches to turn into relationships. If a buyer saved a house, Darci and Tricia had to see it — not lose that intent inside a third-party widget they could not access.
What We Built
Custom IDX Search on Live MLS Inventory
We built a custom IDX layer against West Penn Multi-List so buyers can search the market on darciwiserealtor.com instead of leaving for a brokerage tool or a national portal. Filters cover city or ZIP, distance from Grove City, price, beds, baths, square footage, and lot size. Listing cards carry live status, photos, and a save heart. Team listings also surface on the homepage and a dedicated Our Listings page, so Darci's own inventory and the wider MLS sit inside the same branded experience.

Client Accounts and an Agent Portal for Saved Properties
Buyers create an account to save homes. Favorites live on a private Saved Homes dashboard with address, status, and a path back into the listing. On the agent side, a private portal lists every registered user, their contact details, and the properties they saved, with search, CSV export, and follow-up email tools. The team can see who is shopping, which houses they are watching, and reach out from the same system that captured the save — not from a disconnected IDX vendor dashboard.

Community Pages Built for Local Search
IDX listing pages are not a ranking strategy. We built the pages search engines and AI tools can actually cite: a communities hub plus dedicated pages for Grove City, Mercer, Harrisville, Pine Township, and Slippery Rock. Buy, sell, about, and team profile pages sit alongside those location pages, with lead capture and Homes for Heroes coverage woven through. The marketing site explains the market. The IDX search lets a buyer act once they arrive.

The Result
darciwiserealtor.com just went live. Buyers can search more than a hundred active homes around Grove City without leaving the domain, create an account, and save properties. Darci and Tricia can open the agent portal and see those shoppers and the homes they are watching. The next phase is indexing and local search — the site is too new to claim rankings.
Built for Search From Day One
A brokerage template with an embedded IDX widget gives search engines almost nothing unique to describe. This build puts the searchable pages on Grove City, Mercer, Harrisville, Pine Township, and Slippery Rock, plus buy, sell, and team content Google and AI tools can actually read. IDX search and saved-home accounts stay on the same domain so a buyer can search, save, and become a lead. Listing pages are a product feature. The community pages are the foundation for local search as the site gets indexed.
